Cha Cha - Dance Workshop

Cha Cha originated in Cuba in the 1950s and is one of the most popular of the Latin Ballroom dances. Based on the Cuban Mambo, it is a fun, energetic dance characterised by a rhythmic swaying of the hips and the cha cha chassé. 

Led by Magda Sobolewska and Dani K this fun Cha Cha Dance Workshop is suitable for complete beginners and any existing students looking to brush up on their latin dance skills.

Cha Cha Dance Workshop Content

Our dance workshop will start with basic steps, partner-work and turn patterns leading to styling and footwork suitable for each level. Although content may vary depending on the group, generally it will include:

  • Introduction to Cha Cha fundamentals
  • Learn basic Cha Cha Steps as well as fun open work
  • Practise Cha Cha in hold
  • Add style and flair to your dance

You don't have to bring a partner to join this dance lesson.

No Venue

All City Academy tutors are experienced professionals from theatre, film/TV and performance industries. So whilst they're training you they may also be rehearsing for a West End show or working on a movie. We like that and we do believe it makes a difference in class.
