Develop the ability to venture off-script to react to everything from the latest news to moments that arise with audience members. This is a trait shared by all the best comedians, crucial to generate spontanous laughter.
You will look at varied comedy forms such as political material, comedy songs and "set pieces" that can make your performance memorable and enjoyable. You will also learn different performance techniques in preparation for your final showcase.
The final day of the Stand Up Comedy school is spent rehearsing and honing your sets ready for the evening showcase. You'll also learn how to get more gigs, and how to break into the comedy industry in conventional and unconventional ways.
