Our Online Comedy Writing Courses welcomes comedy writers at all levels looking to inject humour into their work – whether for stage, screen, or scripted online.
Working with a professional comedian, we’ll show you how comedy writers craft imaginative and original work. From toppers and call-backs to freestyle jokes and juxtaposition, you will discover technique-in-action and apply it to your own writing.
Like all of our online writing lessons, you’ll receive constructive feedback in an inclusive virtual space.

A note on participation: Enhancing these skills requires practical and active participation. As this is an interactive, group class all students will be required to have their videos turned on.
You will need
- A device with Camera and Microphone
- A desk, table or flat surface on which to write
- Paper, notebook or journal
- A pen or pencil or separate laptop for writing
- Beginner Friendly
- Small Group Sizes
