Welcome to the wonderful world of Writing for Children.
On this fun and exciting course, you will discover the skills and confidence to write picture books and spark joy for the younger reader.
Using creative techniques to shape and share your work in a lively online setting, you will explore how to stimulate, surprise and spark joy for children using interactive prompts and games.
Like all of our online writing lessons, you’ll receive constructive feedback from a professional writer in an inclusive virtual space.

A note on participation: Enhancing these skills requires practical and active participation. As this is an interactive, group class all students will be required to have their videos turned on.
You will need
- A device with Camera and Microphone
- A desk, table or flat surface on which to write
- Paper, notebook or journal
- A pen or pencil or separate laptop for writing
- Beginner Friendly
- Small Group Sizes
Please note that fluency in English is essential for this course.
