Ingrid Gray

Ingrid Gray has worked as a voice and accent coach all over London and the UK since graduating from Royal Central School and Speech and Drama with an MA in Voice studies in 2005. She specialises in pure voice and accent work as well as presentation skills, training and interview techniques.

Ingrid initially trained as an actor and continued to develop her skills and experience by working in post-production and voiceover sessions in recording studios for TV advertising and feature films.

Ingrid is currently coaching corporate professionals at senior level to help develop confidence, vocal power and clarity in communication. Clients include BT, PriceWaterHouseCooper, IBM, Goldman Sachs and schools such as Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Laban Institute, Italia Conti and East15.

Ingrid has recently been vocal coach to BAFTA nominated actor Johnny Harris for Monsters – The Dark continent, Vertigo Films and the Sky Atlantic TV series Fortitude. She has also been coaching actress Jo Hartley (Eddie the Eagle and David Brent ‘Life on the Road’.

As a Swedish native Ingrid uses international techniques and practices to help professionals develop their communication skills. Sessions involve practical exercises, role-play and developmental feedback. To achieve the best results for clients she uses relaxation, posture work, agility of the articulation muscles as well as breath technique and control. Pace of speech, stress and intonation as well as eye contact and body language are all at the heart of her approach to training.

Ingrid works intuitively with each client’s needs and offers bespoke training to encourage natural development, insight and reinforced confidence.
